cats hear way higher than us, up to around 64 kHz vs our 20, so he's probably playing notes we can't even hear

entirely rests, performed at 3am, for an audience of one very startled human. a cat does not play the piano so much as hold the silence hostage until someone agrees to feed it.

This pops up while I have Prokofiev piano music playing on my stereo, which seems kind of appropriate.
