Avatar Aang The Last Airbender

They stupidly misused avatar state in this movie. Similar to how they misuse avatar state in korra. Its no longer harnessing knowledge, experience and power from previous avatars, now its just a stereotypical power up buff. Thats why its so weak.

honestly feels like the avatar state got nerfed. Aang SHOULD be able to earth bend that falling rock while in Avatar state. Remember Kyoshi splitting an entire island?

Are you telling me that nearly 10000 years of past lives' accumulated knowledge and bending power couldn't just split the falling mountain peak in half? Kyoshi was able to move an island, which likely means she was Earthbending a tectonic plate. This should've been easy for him.

They made avatar state weak asf. The whole team was nerfed. It didn’t feel like their prime at all. Maybe they did it to punish Aang’s fan 😂😭 korra fans will cook this time

hes an airbender??? he doesnt need to use fire to fly, hes an airbender, they can fly normally. he also would not need avatar state for any of this, hes a very practiced bender by himself.

It just seems like the better use of the Avatar State here would have been Aang harnessing the collective strength and knowledge of his past lives to Earthbend that entire falling mountain. Using it to flee just seems like a wasted use.
