Performance drives what gets funded next. If numbers drop, budgets shrink and fewer projects get greenlit. That affects the same creatives you think are untouched.

This guys an actual idiot yes the studio already got paid for making the movie but if paramount doesn’t make money off the release then there won’t be more avatar because paramount won’t blame pirating they will say oh look there’s no interest in the franchise end it.

Somebody already gave me the film & I watched it, really great. That being said, I had planned to go to the theater to watch it again on the big screen, you know, before they decided to be dumb & pull the movie from theaters so they could push Paramount+ down our throats.

This type of thinking is one dimensional. If the parent company starts losing money that’s less money they shell out to the smaller companies they own that create the projects. “But paramount has billions of dollars” and that money is being spread out

This is a short sided take. Yes in the short term, you hurt paramount. But in the long term you also hurt avatar studios because their ability to make more projects and content depends on Paramount. If paramount never loans them money again, avatar studios loses, and so do we.

You’re also hurting avatar studios because I’ll of the movie bombs on paramount, they’re not likely to invest more money on a star studios

I think speaking on it is moot if you haven’t read the contract. Things are never as black and white as you want to believe. Speaking from experience, the pay isn’t always up front. Sometimes the stipulations are a percentage of the return , with a small base pay

If that’s true then those people needa fire their agents cuz that’s a horrible agreement

Honestly, I think that’s a bunch of bull crap the avatar fandom is massive probably the biggest one in the world and the fact that they only put it on Paramount like a lot of people can’t pay or afford Paramount and for them to only have it on. Paramount makes me so angry

Counter argument; If Avatar Studios wanted people to respect the movie enough to watch it legit, they would have brought as much of the the original Gaang VAs back onboard as they could have, rather than those garbage DEIversity picks who don’t capture the crew at all.

I kept saying this to the "ATLA" fans that kept crying about how "It hurts the artists and VAs" and how it "Ruins the theater release" and all i got told was "NO ITS REAL"

And I pay for paramount, but dont watch any movies. So I overpaid for this avatar movie already.
