So yeah, this was the biggest project I have ever worked on and is by far my best work yet, not only the animation but also the lighting has improved SOOO much it's almost unbelievable haha. This is something I talked about in my review of Pixar's Elio. Another reviewer, JesterBell, pointed out that nearly every shot has the action framed in the center, and speculated this was to make it easy for influencers to crop for TikTok and YouTube Shorts. I even cropped the trailer to 9:16 just to see, and yes, like 80% of the shots fit a vertical frame without having to move anything around. The movie itself has an aspect ratio of 2.4 (12:5), so squeezing the action into the middle like this means they're only really using a quarter of the frame.

The False Memory OST finally dropped a couple days ago and I’ve been waiting for this specific soundtrack to release ever since i first heard it back in 2024 when it was first used in a trailer. When this trailer first dropped, It was my first time ever hearing about False Memory and I was completely blown away by it, not only by its visuals but by the soundtrack, holy fucking shit man it felt like I was ascending to a higher plane of existence. Hands down the best animated trailer ever made, the visual direction paired with this incredible soundtrack is nothing short of generational. For the past 2 years, I was so obsessed with this trailer I couldn't stop rewatching it, I just knew this series was gonna be a fucking masterpiece when it officially released. I cannot wait to re-watch it again in the near future.
