Timothée Chalamet might really go three Dune films without even receiving a nomination from The Academy for playing Paul Atredies. Chalamet should absolutely be pictured on the graph below in some capacity - all signs point to Dune: Part 3 being Chalamet’s best outing as Atredies. Chalamet was snubbed last year for Marty Supreme & another snub looks totally plausible again this year.

The film looks horrifying & utterly stunning. What a cherry on-top of a great day.

Michael is undeniably one of 2026’s biggest successes. The box office is piping hot right now, it’s steaming, it’s on fire. And I think the good times will keep rolling as we enter awards season & films like Dune & Doomsday hit theaters. But when the dust settles & we look back on ‘26, the $1 billion + earned at the international box office by Michael will remain as one of the year’s high points. I gave this movie 3 stars & really enjoyed it. Curious if Oscar nominations are in this film’s future.
