Average White Band - “When Will You Be Mine”

Must have

Indeed!

Back when musicians were good enough to record live.

Nothing more 70s california than super-tight shorts violently wrapped around ass, beard and the beat as tight as the shorts

These guys had so much soul. I still remember when KGFJ in Los Angeles dropped their first record. Everybody just assumed they were Black... then somebody found out they were white and the whole room went, "Wait... WHAT?!" Funny how people preach "don't judge a book by its cover," then spend their lives judging the cover before they ever hear the music. Talent doesn't come with a paint code it just shows up and makes everybody look stupid.

Temazo total. Ese funk clásico escocés tiene un ritmo único que ya no se encuentra fácil. 🕺🎸

What’s amazing is Al Gorrie the bass player is actually playing guitar and Hamish the guitarist is on bass!!

nice

Look at that youthful Steve Ferrone!

Their double live album "Person to Person" is a top 10 album of all-time

Exactly what made the brother at the show jump and shout "play that funky music white boy"

Nothing average about those sweet sweet bass licks

Steve Ferrone on drums?

Maybe if wore my zoris (flip flops) I could sound that cool too.

Above average white band

yesssssss. you´ve made my fucking and joyless day

There’s a lot of… testicles here

One of the reasons I’ve got a soft spot for the Scots.

Those shorts are just as crazy as the groove

This is so lame, that’s why punk rock was invented in the 70s.

It’s really not long until those little pants make a comeback.

wow! great band, 100% SOUL!!!

Dang this rocks

….really sounds like Jamiroquai….brilliant nonetheless!

💯

And now we are flooded with mash ups and nothing but sampling of hit songs. The creativity has slowly died, and like movies, games and shows, we just see rehashed and remake based media for a large chunk of today's rollouts. Gone are the days of rapid pioneering artistry.

💯

Such a cool vibe. Thanks. Will be downloading.

You won’t hear a better groove than this

Funkin it up
