Italy wasn't a 3rd world country either. Italians only came to America for a better opportunity. There was no welfare or government assistance, they (and the Irish) worked their asses off doing labor intensive dangerous jobs and built NYC. They were productive members of society, far different than the 3rd world trash that sucks NYC dry & hate's America. That Italian snub pissed me off. I pray the mob makes a comeback. NYC needs some Good Fellas. I don't have to respect Muslims/ Islam, they have ZERO for America, they want to take over & destroy our churches. They gotta GO!

He's right. He speaks the full truth. Italians were treated WORSE than slaves. You heard me. We didn't ask for reparations. We didn't cry victim. We found our way. We fought and found our way. And STILL contributed to building this country after all of that.

My son pointed you out at The Great American State Fair. I told him it wasn’t you (your shirt was buttoned up😂). It was you and I wished we both had stoped and said “Hi”. Keep up the good fight and your painting rock!

Hear you! My husband's parents came from Italy as children. Their fathers worked in the coal mines. They never complained. My English and Scotch-Irish ancestors came to Virginia in the 1600s but my husband is 100% American. He cooks rings around me and cries in movies and at funerals even when he doesn't know the person. I love Italians.

I don’t know. I see what you’re saying but.. Think Little Italy has the right to be recognized and I think Mamdani is afraid of the Italian people, he will make them irrelevant and push them out.

Italians are one of the precious few people throughout history who were able to throw off the shackles of Islamic conquest. So theres literally no one better than Italians to launch a modern resistance movement. The multi-decade Muslim conquest of Byzantine Sicily began with a landing at Mazara in June 827 AD. Driven by the Aghlabid dynasty of North Africa and invited by the rebel Byzantine commander Euphemius, the protracted campaign lasted roughly 75 years until the fall of Taormina in 902 AD, followed by the final reduction of northeastern outposts by 965 AD. The native Sicilian resistance to the Muslim invasion and subsequent occupation was an incredibly bitter, multigenerational struggle. Rather than a swift capitulation, the native population—predominantly Greek-speaking, Orthodox Christian Sicilians fought a grueling 75-year war of attrition during the initial invasion and continued to stage major insurgencies and launch massive geopolitical reconquest attempts for another 150 years. The geography of Sicily shaped a fierce defensive strategy. The native population retreated to highly defensible, heavily fortified mountaintop strongholds in the interior. Situated on a massive high plateau in central Sicily, Enna became the central military headquarters for the native resistance. For nearly three decades, Christian forces used Enna as a base to launch devastating counter-offensives, wiping out several invading armies. As the imperial capital of Byzantine Sicily, Syracuse resisted fiercely. It withstood numerous assaults until a brutal, apocalyptic nine-month naval and land siege in 877–878 AD. Deprived of food, the population famously resorted to cannibalism before the walls were breached, resulting in the massacre of thousands of native defenders. SAY IT WITH ME @ScottLoBaido: FUCK ISLAM But I digress... Even after major cities fell, the northeastern third of the island—the mountainous Val Demone—became the absolute heart of the native Sicilian insurgency. Thousands of Christian refugees fled to the rugged Peloritani and Nebrodi mountains. The terrain prevented the Muslim cavalry from operating effectively. Native Sicilians used guerrilla tactics, ambushing supply lines and maintaining active communication and naval supply chains with Byzantine Southern Italy. Because of this fierce native Sicilian resistance, the invasion took decades longer to complete. The great fortress of Taormina did not fall until 902 AD, and the absolute last native mountain outposts, such as Rometta, held out until 965 AD. Once the conquest was formally completed, the resistance shifted from active armies to civil and tax rebellions. Non-Muslims were categorized as Dhimmi and forced to pay the Jizya (poll tax). But native Sicilians expertly exploited political fractures within the Islamic leadership. When the Shia Fatimid Caliphate overthrew the Sunni Aghlabids, the island fractured into civil war. Hatred of Fatimid tax policies reached a boiling point. Native Christian Sicilians united with disgruntled local Sunni Arab settlers in a massive island-wide rebellion. The resistance was so well-organized that they collectively sent a letter to the Byzantine Emperor Romanos I Lekapenos in Constantinople, begging for an imperial fleet to liberate them. The Sicilians fought a ferocious 150 battle of resistance. When the Norman brothers Roger I and Robert Guiscard arrived in 1061 AD to permanently conquer the island, they were viewed not as foreign invaders, but as liberators by a native Christian population that immediately rose up to help them overthrow the Emirate. And Italians will do it again.

Agree with your statement- Though Keep your eye on Mamdani 's hate for Christians, Catholics. His hate for Italians is because he's Muslim. Period. Nothing to do with Italian culture, beauty, art, food, love. It's that you're Christian/Catholic.
