Avian weak spot, ear scratches

Some birds like being petted in their bellies too. Source: I have a male sparrow as a pet who might has been a dog or a cat in a previous life.

I'm a big fan of this bird's previous work.

I've seen it suggested that humanity was put on this earth to pet things... and I've not really seen any evidence to the contrary.

Birds of prey really do seem to be skycats in a great many ways. I thought it was just owls, but it seems to be more.

It's always around/inside ear.

I loved giving any bird little scritches and being hit with the ^-^

X-rated stuff you're posting. It's a courtship/sexual area for a bird like that. They can't preen themselves there so their mate does it for them and excites this highly sensitive part of their body.

(IPoAC) - RFC 1149

It mimics mutual grooming behavior because they can't get to their heads so easy themselves to preen pin feathers.

Even apex predators are just little babies

A peregrine, for those wondering.

Raptor scritches. 🪶

Giving dinosaurs scratchies

Everything creation wants - is that we protect every piece and be gentle

Brb going to try this on my chickens

don't touch me... ok just a little bit :)

Falcons and owls are the cutest birds of prey! Just look at this little nugget. 💖

I used to do this with my chickens. Similar reactions

What breed of Falcon is that? It looks smaller than a Lanner & I LOVE that dark melanistic look

What is it about the ear scratches? Cats, dogs, birds.. ❤️
