It is easy to love when there is distance because you don’t have to meet or share anything with that person. But when you are close up, they will step on your boundaries. Then you feel that person is a problem. But if you create a little distance between yourself and your personality, you will see you will enjoy yourself. Then everyone is wonderful because now you see people for who they are, not for whether they fit into some framework. #SadhguruWisdom

Today's last sermon is on friendship. Choose your friends wisely and ensure that they add value to your life, rather than becoming a burden to you. This is a serious issue especially for high value individuals, your friendship network is intertwined with your success or failure in life. As Oprah Winfrey says, you can never have a friend who is jealousy of your successes and achievements. Some people come to your home not as friends but to see how you live, then they use that access as a stepping stone into destroying you out of jealousy and envy. These are the same people who will now try to justify their failures by saying, "he or she must have stolen somewhere or has a man doing it for them." Such friends are actually enemies of your progress, you don’t need them in your life! Avoid friends who never add anything to what you do, friends who only talk about sleeping with women or men, friends who only talk about partying and never discuss financial opportunities or ways to add value to your financial portfolios with you. There are men on this App whose whole and sole existence is based on gossip, telling lies about their friends, and fighting to delegitimise their supposed friends. Cut them off, you don’t need them! Choosing the right friends is an essential aspect of personal growth and happiness, it defines who you become, and who you become defines your legacy. It is important to surround yourself with people who celebrate and support your successes, rather than those who harbor jealousy or seek to undermine your achievements. Oprah's words serve as a reminder to be vigilant in identifying those who may not have your best interests at heart, some will even subtweet their so called friends on social media, their hatred is so strong to hide. Some individuals may disguise themselves as friends but are merely seeking opportunities to satisfy their own insecurities or malicious intentions. Friendship is not about supporting you in continuing to do things that don’t add value, true friendship is about telling you what doesn’t work and helping you navigate a plan that does work. Bad friends don’t say anything even when they see you sinking into a sea of failure and mediocrity, they laugh at you behind your back. Real friends tell you the painful truth to help you fix your problems and become a better person. Bad friends destroy careers and eventually will destroy you too!! When your parents say they don’t like your friends, it is because they have seen something wrong with the people around you. Now that you are an adult, you must have a BS antenna.
