Imagine booking an appointment, picking out a full set, sitting there for over an hour, getting your nails done… and THEN saying you don’t have any money. 🤦‍♀️ What is wrong with people these days? Nail techs, hairstylists, barbers, tattoo artists — start getting deposits or payment up front because the audacity is OUT OF CONTROL. These people are out here wasting time, products, and somebody’s livelihood like it’s funny. Good grief.

Because of our geographical location, Kent is on the frontline dealing with the small boats arrivals. The number of unaccompanied asylum seeking children - UASC - has quadrupled in the past decade. Each of these paper blocks represents 1000 arrivals - you can see how much the numbers have increased. We are legally required under the Children’s Act to provide & care for them. Once these children become adults (care leavers) they are still legally entitled to our care (food, housing, clothes etc) but we get no money from government. How is it fair to expect the Kent taxpayers to foot the bill for what is clearly a national & international crisis?
