Those courses are they not being offered in the Universities of other countries and things are working fine with them. Every course is relevant only that you don’t know what to do.

This is true. I hope they listen, especially the parents. They are the ones who want their children to study microbiology and similar fields, but they often end up selling bags after graduating.

Learn, Relearn, and Unlearn Some of your assertions are statements of facts; however, the government also has a major role to play as they made those obsolete courses available for people to study. It's time to create the enabling environment for those technical skills. Scap courses that are not relevant to the next decades. You hardly see a university in Nigeria that offers a in Blockchain Technology, AI, and Data Science, e.t.c. Some universities and polytechnics are still maintaining some job titles that have been in existence since the 1980s. When the national curriculum is well designed, some issues are naturally tackled. No offence

As you didn’t mention Peter Obi in this post, did you faint? You just reminded me of the reason I followed you in the first place.

I met a lot of Students here in Germany who read courses like Chinese language, Korean language, Japanese language and culture etc. Some Anthropology, Sociology, African studies, Indian Studies America and British studies etc. Most of the students are actually German students.

I accepted what you said but why not advise your government to align with the NUC and stop giving excess admission in that obsolete course as mentioned to aviod waste of resources
