This is true. I hope they listen, especially the parents. They are the ones who want their children to study microbiology and similar fields, but they often end up selling bags after graduating.

It's time to create the enabling environment for those technical skills. Scap courses that are not relevant to the next decades. You hardly see a university in Nigeria that offers a in Blockchain Technology, AI, and Data Science, e.t.c. Some universities and polytechnics are still maintaining some job titles that have been in existence since the 1980s. When the national curriculum is well designed, some issues are naturally tackled. there is nothing like obsolete courses...

I met a lot of Students here in Germany who read courses like Chinese language, Korean language, Japanese language and culture etc. Some Anthropology, Sociology, African studies, Indian Studies America and British studies etc. Most of the students are actually German students.

I accepted what you said but why not advise your government to align with the NUC and stop giving excess admission in that obsolete course as mentioned to aviod waste of resources
