This is wrong. It’s mistaking “being friend” with spending quality time. You want to know how to raise a good child? From the moment that boy or girl is born, don’t just tell them right from wrong but tell them WHY it is right or wrong. Teach values not behavior.

My mom was always my friend & never had to discipline me. I don’t ever remember her grounding me or punishing me (sometimes she’d tell me to turn the tv off) If you give enough love and live by example and your child will want to make you proud. She always always answers “why”
