Avon, like Kanan, was a gangster at heart; unfortunately, that's what led to his downfall. Fighting over street corners when, with Stringer, he could have taken down Marlo and become the boss of the streets without fighting over territory #TheWire

Omar's death is so realistic. In life, no matter who you are, anyone with a gun can kill you. Omar robbed major drug dealers like Avon, Stringer, and Marlo; none of them managed to kill him, except for a little boy of 8 or 9 #TheWire

THIS SCENE PERFECTLY SHOWS STRINGER LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE CODES! Avon was the only one who saw there was no reasoning with someone like Marlo. This is why I respect Avon he had a code Marlo doesn't care. I like that Avon wasn't losing his temper with String in this scene. He was empathetic to String's reasoning and still laid down the law. Look how Avon hates when his name is being attached to something he had no part of, whereas Marlo loved taking credit for stuff he had nothing to do with.🎬🍿
