It's the worst labor market of my lifetime.

@StealthQE4 It's worse than '08. I didn't declare any income for 2008. This is worse.

@StealthQE4 Okay so from a big picture perspective, it was worse. Unemployment peaked at 10% and we are at 4.4%. Credit spreads are still tight, widening, but no alarms. Fed will backstop everything.

Unemployment is a useless window-dressing stat. Someone who exhausts their unemployment and still hasn't found work drops out of the unemployment numerator, when their situation represents a much worse case scenario. What's the difference of adults out of the labor force who want to find work?

@StealthQE4 I’d argue it’s not useless but a lagging indicator and usually the last to buckle. 5% is the threshold. Over that, seems to spiral fast. We are seeing the older gen’s enter the workforce again at high numbers. Seems like they aren’t having issues

@StealthQE4 It measures shock entering the system, but does not measure recovery from said shock.

But what he's missing is that all this is intentional. This is a controlled demolition. They are purposely wrecking the economy. Why isn't anyone talking about that? smh Our government, the WEF and the other powers that shouldn't be ... they're all in on it. That's what's so annoying. Nobody is calling this out or recognizing it.

The U.S. national unemployment rate is 4.3% as of May 2026, remaining stable within a narrow 4.3% to 4.5% band since mid-2025. The average monthly national unemployment rate during the Biden administration (January 2021 to January 2025) was 4.2%. So, unemployment has been substantially the same from Biden to Trump.

The underemployment rate has moved from 9.2% in 2016 down to 8.1% in 2026.

$7 trillion was created. Assets absorbed it. Wages didn’t. Now imagine rates falling again.

As bad as it is, this is nothing. The real AI layoffs haven't even started yet. A year from now, this all gets SO much worse.

The day the stock market and housing prices being propped up became the priority, was the day we began failing our people, by privileging asset holders over non asset holders We chose that over fighting inflation

Somebody is lying. Prime age workforce participation is at all time highs. Debt is up but not more than inflation. Places are packed, people are spending. Either the data is fake or this guy is full of it.

Unemployment is at historically low levels. The only people out of jobs are DEI workers, if in the last 10/15 years you were hired for DEI you are out of the job market right now

It's called bureaucracy and we need to destroy it. We need to get rid of the BLOAT. Commies steal our taxpayer money and weaken our dollar by creating bullshit companies with bullshit jobs for bullshit causes and try to funnel taxpayer dollars in. Enough!!!
