Another Tucker Carlson amazing interview. Well worth watching. We all need to applaud the courage and perseverance of a servant of our government (former Congressman Curt Weldon), who was an original truth teller. Back in the day post 9-11 attacks on our country, Curt tried to tell the truth. His life and his family’s life were destroyed (by the GOP establishment—and he was a Republican). It just didn’t fit the narrative they needed. It is worth watching the entire interview to learn where and why we are the way we are today. Many lives were changed on 9-11. Mine included. I especially appreciated this clip.

You gotta give it to Spencer Jones for the way he has come through with everybody on the IL. No Grisham, Stanton, or Judge, and yet, Jones has figured out ways to contribute, and as the Yankees sit 2.5 games up in the division, he's a part of the reason why. That home run was obviously impressive, but the most remarkable thing Jones did yesterday was drawing the bases loaded walk. THAT showed a ton of maturity, and that isn't always so easy to do when you're a young player in a position to juice your stats a bit. Davis Martin was already on the ropes, and, instead of being jumpy, Jones ground him down. He took six pitches, and, on Davis' 3-2 pitch, it looked like he dotted the corner. Jones ended up laying off of it, and the pitch was actually ball four. Hopefully, that's the type of thing Jones does more of. People get annoyed at the Texas Rangers' Joey Gallo comp, but in a lineup with a ton of depth already, there's room for a three-true-outcome slugger. Look at the career Kyle Schwarber has carved out for himself. He has a career K rate of 28.7%, and this year he has a 34% strikeout rate, but oh man, his eye is impeccable, and his power is absurd. Schwarber will never be a .300 hitter, and that's okay. It's still WAY too early to make any of those comparisons for Jones, but hopefully he can flash that power while also showing a good eye despite the strikeouts. Having a high strikeout percentage can mean things can go off the rails, and we've all seen the Jones cold streaks in the minors, but so far, in the infancy of his big league career, he has been awesome.

2027 4⭐️ Bartlett 6’6” G/wing Dylan Jones (Dylan Jones) finished off a fantastic season securing tournament MVP honors for Bartlett Boys Hoops. Ranked #36 overall in the class of 2027 by ESPN, Jones has multiple HM programs after him, including: Tennessee, Ole Miss, Alabama, etc. Jones is a great combo of size, athleticism and skill at the guard/wing position. He excels off catch and shoot and has potential to be an excellent around the rim finisher with his vertical athleticism and body control. Debuted at #2 on the preseason Hitmen Hit List behind his teammate DJ Okoth. Always fun watching Dylan Jones play.

Subaru was the goodest of boys. When the fire happened I found him standing in burning grass next to a hen that had already perished. His feet and legs were burnt. He had lung damage from smoke inhalation. The resulting treatments of the last year led to a fungal infection that we struggled to treat. But with all of that, the injuries, and the heart/lung damage from the fire, he spent his days watching over the girls with love. And that’s where I found him today. Passed in the very spot he always stood as an ever present sentinel, watching over his hens as they took their dust baths. Surrounded by his girls. I fought so hard to help him. I thought he was finally starting to get better, but his giant, loving heart gave out today. And now mine is broken.
