🚨Legacy media outlets are touting the 200 "Republicans" who signed an open letter backing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.🤔 I was curious, so I teamed up with Elizabeth Troutman Mitchell and did a little digging. As it turns out, this list has three groups of "former Bush, McCain, and Romney staff" who arguably don't belong and may have been added just to pad the numbers: 1⃣INTERNS. Yes, people who interned for a presidential campaign or a Senate office are on this list as if they represent GOP politicos. 2⃣Apolitical staff. There's a guy who flew Marine One for George W. This was such a great moment that I was able record today. I only started recording when the lady just started going off about me helping him out. You never know who someone is or what they’re going through until you sit and have a conversation. He mentioned he’d been looking for jobs and all and can’t find work. Another veteran who needs true help. I just wanted to share this to inspire others to do something nice for someone today 😃

Been ending a lot of my interviews lately by asking filmmakers to name something they did that they’re proud of. I started doing this partly because I noticed I’m really bad at answering that question myself, and think it’s important to take pride in your work. I’ve been getting better at it though, and actually have a very easy time pinpointing something I’m especially proud of in 2023 — getting nominated for the Press Award at the IATSE Local 600 Publicists Awards. It’s hard to put into words how much I LOVE what I do, how grateful I am to be able to do it, and how deeply I appreciate all of the artists who’ve shared their craft and experiences with me during our interviews. None of that would be possible without the publicists I get to work with, a number of whom I’ve known my entire career. To any publicist reading this, THANK YOU. Thank you for your hard work and passion, and for always making me feel welcomed, supported, and like this is a business where I can thrive and keep my heart full. ❤️📽️

Forget the money, over a year into this term and the very people who weaponized the government against us still work there.
