Max has always been a late braker and early exit guy in this ground effect era but its amazing to see sainz hold his own ground after losing that time in S1. He brakes late and actually makes up some time in tight sections of the track

For those wondering what Peter Windsor means when he talks about "short corners" - this will help. Look at the gap that Sainz closes at the end of the straights and then look at the greater gap that max emerges with after the exit.

These tiny margins in qualifying rarely translate to race pace. Expect Max to pull away tomorrow.
