Baba’s abilities and animations in Deadlock: Threadsap - Weave a scraggly thread that follows your crosshair, then bursts along its path, dealing spirit damage and stealing enemy Spirit. The steal is stronger for Baba. While she is holding stolen Spirit, every bullet deals bonus spirit damage. Granny Long Legs... - The bench’s legs extend, granting bonus move speed, higher jumps, Debuff Resistance, and Melee Resistance. Light melee becomes a kick that knocks enemies back. Heavy melee becomes a ground pound that deals spirit damage and applies knockup and slow. Hold CTRL to charge a high jump, then release to leap. Baba’s Brew - Brew a pot of tea that cycles between three effects, then throw it to apply the current one in an area. Soothing brew grants a barrier. Silencing brew silences. Scalding brew burns for spirit damage over time and reduces spirit resist. Press the brew key to pause or resume the cycle so you can hold the effect you want. Feed The Birds - Cover targets in front of you with bread, stacking a slow the longer you hold it. When the channel ends, a flock of pigeons bombards the target for spirit damage and hexes them into a pigeon. More bread means more damage and a longer hex. #deadlockshow more

It was a close contest, but today we find New York's notorious pigeon lady leaving her favorite perch in Central Park and joining the fight on the city streets. 🧵 Threadsap: Throw a thread that follows your crosshair, stealing Spirit power from enemies and dealing Spirit Damage. 🦿 Granny Long Legs: Extend your bench's legs, granting a new set of melee attacks, super jumps, and bonus movespeed and debuff resist. 🫖 Baba's Brew: Throw a pot of tea that lands in an area, covering it in either a Barrier, Silence, or Burn damage. 🐤 Feed The Birds: Cover targets in bread, dealing increased spirit damage the longer you channel, and Hexing them into a pigeon at the end.

The first look at the new Deadlock hero, his abilities and animations - Solomon! Setup Bishop - Create a bishop that remains in place indefinitely. Move it to slide the piece, applying a fading slow and dealing spirit damage to enemies it passes through. After a delay, diagonal squares activate and deal additional spirit damage when stepped on. Re-activate to recall all bishops and end the ability. Kingside Knight - Promote an ally to a knight, granting bonus stamina and a barrier for a duration. Self-cast develops you as king instead, granting double the barrier but no stamina. Move the piece to leap it, making it invulnerable until it lands. Rook Battery - Release a pair of rooks that travel forward, dealing spirit damage and applying immobilize. If a rook hits a wall, it reflects back the opposite way. Re-activate to split the rooks perpendicularly. Develop Queen - Summon a queen that crashes down, dealing spirit damage in an area. After a delay, the queen releases squares in straight lines that deal spirit damage again and stun. Move the queen to leap it to a new location, repeating the impact and square effects. Re-activate to recall the queen early and end the ability. #deadlock

First look at the new Deadlock hero - Celeste! 1️⃣ Light Eater - Blast enemies in a cone in front of you with a flare of light. Enemies hit take spirit damage when attacked by Celeste and provides spirit lifesteal. 2️⃣ Dazzling Trick - Surround yourself in a protective prism that provides bonus move speed. If the barrier is destroyed, it silences nearby enemies and deals a portion of the barrier as damage. 3️⃣ Radiant Daggers - Call down a beam of light from the sky. After a short duration, the beam will fully form, causing an explosion that deals spirit damage to all targets in the area. Celeste will receive a stacking buff that increases her spirit damage anytime this hits an enemy hero. 4️⃣ Shining Wonder - Launch a deadly orb of light that deals spirit damage and applies slow and reduces Dash Distance on impact. The orb then bounces to the nearest enemy within range. If no target is found, the orb will linger for a short duration while continuing to look for targets. It's not every day that Coney Island's biggest star, The Dazzling Celeste, performs on the streets of Manhattan. Her show begins with Light Eater, where a deep breath lit by her blazing baton coats enemies in front of her, and grants increased damage against them. Following that up, she envelops herself in the prismatic shield of her Dazzling Trick, which explodes and silences nearby enemies who break it. Try not to get distracted by her gliding gracefully through the air, or by the dance of her Radiant Daggers, as you'll regret being underneath them when they rain down from above. As for her memorable final act, the Shining Wonder will make her allies go OOH and her foes go AGGHHH! - "You are about to see something rare and wonderful!"

First look at the new Deadlock hero - Silver! Liliah Silver is a mess. She drinks too much, she smokes too much, and the less is said about her personal life the better. But despite Silver's flaws she has managed to carve out a career as successful bounty hunter, and while she would like to think that her successes are solely because she has incredible intuition, the fact that she's a werewolf doesn't hurt. 1️⃣ Slam Fire - Instantly reload your gun. You gain bonus fire rate and deal bonus weapon damage based on the target's health for a limited number of shots, but suffer from reduced accuracy. 2️⃣ Go For The Throat - Deal melee damage to all enemies in front of you, receiving a heal for a portion of the damage dealt. The damage is increased the lower health they have. 3️⃣ Boot Kick - Dash forward and kick the first enemy hit, dealing melee damage while pushing yourself off and marking them. 4️⃣ Mauling Leap - Leap forward, mauling the first enemy hit for melee damage. They suffer from reduced bullet resist and take spirit damage over time. 5️⃣ Entangling Bola - Throw a bola, dealing spirit damage, applying slow and preventing movement abilities, stamina, or jumping. 6️⃣ Tail Whack - Smash enemies around you, dealing spirit damage. They suffer from disarm and a brief slow. 7️⃣ Lycan Curse - Passive: Dealing damage generates bloodlust, increased at low health. At max bloodlust, you automatically cast Lycan Curse. Active: Instantly transform, gaining increased max health, move speed, and stacking fire rate on enemy heroes, and replacing your abilities and weapon with their ferocious versions.

First look at the new Deadlock hero - Rem! An accidental stowaway from the world of dreams, now stranded in the City That Never Sleeps and seeking a way home. Throw a pillow to inflict spirit damage, deal heavy knockback, and reduce the cooldown time on other abilities. Send one of your minions to gather resources, do Sinner's Sacrifices, or follow your teammates to grant spirit resistance, movement speed, healing, and shielding to troopers. Rest on your allies shoulders to heal based on missing health and receive lingering regeneration. Finally, put your enemies to sleep, even through walls, and follow up with massive spirit wake-up damage.

First look at the new Deadlock hero - Venator! 1️⃣ Consecrating Grenade - Fire a grenade that bounces before exploding, dealing weapon damage and setting enemies on fire. Burning targets deal pure damage to enemies in the area and suffer from reduced healing. 2️⃣ Gutshot - Fire a blast with your shotgun, dealing weapon damage and pushing enemies back. Enemies near a wall receive stun and take bonus weapon damage. 3️⃣ Hex-Lined Snap Trap - Kick a trap that arms after a brief delay. The trap springs on the first enemy it touches, dealing spirit damage, applying immobilize, and revealing enemies for a duration afterwards. 4️⃣ Ira Dominii - Load your crossbow with 3 stakes, dealing massively increased weapon damage. The final stake is blessed, dealing bonus pure damage and executing low-health enemies. Venator doesn't walk the righteous path, he blazes the trail so that others may do so safely. His biggest challenge is knowing which weapon to use first. Firing a Consecrating Grenade into the fray softens up his enemies and keeps them from restoring health, and his Hex-Lined Snap Trap scatters across the ground to lock them in place. A Gutshot from his shotgun will knock back enemies who get too close, and when the time is right, Ira Domini will rid the world of evil once and for all. - "Today, nine commandments will have to do."

First look at the new Deadlock hero - Apollo! 1️⃣ Disengaging Sigil - Draw a sigil sphere in front of you and then leap backwards as it explodes, damaging and slowing enemies caught in it. 2️⃣ Riposte - Prepare to deflect the next incoming attack. On a successful deflection, briefly become invulnerable, before performing a dash forward that stuns an enemy and reduces their Bullet Resist. 3️⃣ Flawless Advance - Perform a series of lunges in any direction, delivering piercing stabs ahead of you. Hold your ability key to time your attacks, dealing more damage the longer it's held. Releasing your attack during the perfect window deals maximum damage. 4️⃣ Itani Lo Sahn - Charge up and perform a long range slash. Struck enemies are cursed and stuck in slow motion. When this effect expires, they suffer devastating damage, dealing bonus damage against half-health enemies. While in slow motion, Apollo is invulnerable and enemies take reduced damage. After weeks of waiting, Apollo finally graces us with his presence. With Flawless Advance the fencer begins his approach, timing his strikes perfectly to inflict more damage. Counter-attacks aren't a concern for Apollo, as a flourish of his blade deflects the damage and triggers a quick Riposte, and Disengaging Sigil allows him to jump out of the fray with ease. For his final blow, Apollo dons his fencer's mask and channels Ixia's might with Itani Lo Sahn, leaving enemies defeated in his wake. - "Sa la rex vogali!"
