Unreleased and it’s already bringing Black & Asian people together

Maybe this is what she wanted lol

I just wanna know who was the intended audience for this foolishness?? The Asians are perplexed & they are not gagging. Black folks DEFINITELY have no clue what was going on in those writing sessions & we’re disgusted. Even the Blasians lost. WHO WAS THIS FAH!?????

Apparently the director has an Asian fetish and she deleted her account once these were found :(

the solidarity i like to see.

And you know that she's hurrrrrrt that the Asians don't see her vision! What we think about it, she couldn't care less!!

Not only that but Asians were literally protesting against blacks screaming DEI was the reason …u know what nvm chiii ….

Basically gender-swap ‘Fakin da Funk’ 1997 pre college 😭

i think this is really bringing black and asian people together

Keke's plan !

I been like this since i stumbled across the trailer against my will.

I love when chief kweef speaks lol

How hard was it to just make the MC blast an raised by there Asian side and only costing their black side occasionally and taking the HBCU journey to connect with their black side? Like them a cousin go to the HBCU and they’re exploring the port of them they didn’t know well.

And with enough responses from the Asian community, they’re going to do one of two things, maybe even both. They’re (KeyTV, KeKe Palmer or Nakia Stephens) going to release a statement or pull the show altogether.

i'm glad they're saying it so the creators can't refute criticism with that anti-intellectual bs

We could’ve just done Cinderella brandy again in an hbcu nobody would’ve been mad

I don’t know why real peoples stories aren’t good enough. They gotta make up some fake ass situation.

I think the show is dumb but I remember black people asking Asians to stop cosplaying us and they told us we were over reacting so I’ll do the same and return the favor. It’s my turn now

Okay, I tried to be quiet about this, but the owner of Southern Fried Rice is a former student of mine. I'm just observing without comment. I wish I was made aware of her previous work before this controversial project.

I know all experiences aren’t universal but my cousin is Vietnamese. My auntie and uncle adopted her in the 80s we grew up in south Louisiana. She does not act like that. The Asian kids I grew up with don’t act like that. We southern but they not a caricature.

@heyyitsjanea So the show is about her .

You know what’s funny there was a movie that mirrored this in the 90s minus the hbcu part with John Witherspoon, Tischina Arnold, Pam Grier, Ernie Hudson, Tatyana Ali, Margaret Cho, and Dante Basco set in LA

Lmao Asians and Black people on the same page. Like this does not exist

exactly. even if she was raised by black ppl and went to an hbcu, nobody would gaf!

i have 2 asian aunts that got “ adopted “/married into my very much southern / country family . one’s from the philippines & one is from thailand .. it’s not as crazy as you think its just not your experience 😵💫

I love her. She’s so funny

The black and Asian community about to finally come together it’s gonna be a lot of Blasians soon😔

Even the Asians she in love with going in on her

I actually know of one lol. That's why I didn't think the story was so far fetched or weird The American adoption system is very bad and convoluted and it pushes people to adopt internationally so it's not the most unusual sight to see black couples with asian kids from abroad

Glad that movie and everyone who chose to be a part of that dumb, weird shit are getting their lashings. 😒

I knew she was going to respond 😂😂😂😂

Jut because you don't here about it or never seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen

😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😂😂 even the Asians saying shut that stupid ass shet up 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

😭😭

Let’s allow Black women the grace & space to stumble & not be so quick to demonize and dogpile. People can feel how they feel, but at the end of the day, they’re still Black women creating opportunities that are fought for daily. They will recover from this. It’s the only option.
