Sadly, years later, Andy Griffith and Ron Howard, hijacked their own characters, to do an ad for Bill Clinton. They didn't use the character names, but the inference was obvious. Disgusting.

I didn’t realize this. Sadly, this happened to a lot of Hollywood actors- they go completely woke.

Too bad Andy didn't truly believe what his script had him say. He supported Obama, the most left wing president ever. During Obamas presidency, we were introduced to this transgender b.s. The dems are huge supporters of believing 2 year olds can choose their gender.

Definitely the good old days.

I've not forgotten how Andy stumped for Obamacare. He should have taken his own advice.

I watch this show all the time. I have my grandson hooked on it when I visit. He likes it-lessons learned without Grammy saying it. He also loves the Flintstones and how they use a record player/dishwasher/lawnmower with ancient resources-LOL so do I. 😊

I grew up watching Andy Griffith, and also the Beverly hillbillies. This is really cool.

It’s madness, All the old mainstream media’s have strayed far from truth. No more honest reporting like my man Walter Cronkite back in the day.

We forget it’s the writers with wisdom, actors just read the scripts.

It's interesting to note how everyone's pointing out that Andy was a sellout. But one of the very first things that I had learned about Andy was that he was a miserable, bitter man that no one liked to be around. Makes you wonder if there's a correlation.
