It turns out not to be the case. Putin would not accept any deal because he wants all of Ukraine. Zelenskyy is not going to give away Ukrainian people and Ukrainian territory. Trump said at the time, you know, to Zelenskyy, "You don't have any cards." He was wrong. Zelenskyy has a lot of cards. I think Trump now realizes that. He sees that Zelenskyy actually has some cards and is able to use them well, and is maybe winning here. Putin, on the other hand, is gradually losing.
