That’s Matt Williams - he’s a soccer coach in TX nowadays I think. The kid made kicks over 40 yards and currently 5th on their kicking scoring list. Hopefully that was fun for him lol

I was sitting on the front row at that game. We were all joking Leach should sign him. Not at all surprised the Pirate did just that.

Mike Leach was probably one of the funniest dudes in sports. He also once suggested they put a little person in at tailback and have someone pick him up and genuinely throw him across the line. And he was 100% serious 😭 Glad I got to meet him a few times before he passed, what a legend.
