#49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said he came close to challenging this play, which was nearly an absurd completion from QB Brock Purdy to TE Luke Farrell. "I didn't think it was that close at first, but then they showed one up on the scoreboard at the last second that I though was paused perfectly, that looked like he got his knee in bounds," Shanahan said. "I actually think it was in, but I don't know if they would've overturned it. However they would've called it, I think they would've stayed with it because it just seemed so close, but it ended up being a hell of a throw."

Just got back from the match, and it still hasn't quite sunk in. Last year was about overcoming the heartbreak and near misses for the first time. This year felt different.
