Back in the day, I had much fun reloading Operation Flashpoint over & over again to try to get all the intros on each island. Hopefully it will happen to you too in Task Force Admiral! These cannot be looped randomly just yet, but we have finished implementing the... menu architecture, and along with it the ability to play any MP4 file in the background. We'll try to have a good selection of these to set the mood. As for the menu itself, we went for a more sober pick for our font finally, compared to our prototypes from last year, if some of you remember. It is all very much work in progress, as always, so menu entries might differ from the final product (and will differ in the case of the debug command, obviously!). I am sure you'll be happy to customize it the way you like it! Music & sound are played directly from the file, so feel free to put whatever you like in there. Beware these are just small tests, some using very old footage - you know the game has been made cuter since then. Lebron on what it takes to play for as long as he has at a high level that the average fan may not understand: "It starts way before you get on the floor. They see us once the game is going the popcorn's been popped and the lights are brighter. It takes so much more like sacrifice and discipline and things over the course if you want to be really great at this and if you want to do it for a long period of time. It's so many hours that you got to commit to it. There's so many things that you maybe want to do that you can't if you want to be great but everybody's journey is different. I'm just speaking from my journey but I do think that the game gives back to the ones who put the time in and commit to the game. That's just the game God's rewarding and we don't cheat the process"

Q: Esteban, new year, new rules, new car. You've had the first run out this morning at the Shakedown. What are the first impressions? How did the program go for you? Esteban Ocon: Yeah, feeling good. I think, frist of all, an unbelievable effort from the team really to put the car down, you know, at 9:20 this morning. But the was ready at 9:00 you know. We were waiting on a bit of a better track condition and a few things that we wanted to be perfect before we went out. But yeah, from Fiorano testing with Ollie to here there's been moving like people have climbed mountains really to make this car work and it's been really good. So, we are dealing with the plan, learning as it goes. Of course, it's a busy program that we have for the day. So you know, its gonna be difficult to complete it. But for the first real day of driving, I think so far it's going really well and we'll keep pushing to make sure that all the details are covered. But we have more days than normal which is a good thing. Q: Very early days, of course, but just how different are these cars to drive? Have you had a chance to play around a little bit with some of the new modes? Ocon: Yeah, it's very difficult, very complicated. I got lucky be able to do a lot of simulator days before we started the year, so we are pretty well set on that. Everything is clear, but yes, it's very complicated you know, for all of us. But I hope that this will be the same for everyone, because if it is we're in the same boat, so we'll see. Q: But I get the sense you're really relishing that challange and what about the priorities from here, the rest of the weel here at the shakedown? 260612 #ALD1 DAY1 FANCON #LEO 🦁: Ah... wow... Hello. To be honest, we were preparing for this fancon at the same time as our comeback, so we didn't have much time and I was really worried. I kept wondering, 'Will we be able to do well?'. I had a lot of worries and thoughts like that. And... I don't know, since we haven't performed in a while, I think I was personally very worried. I felt anxious and had a lot of mixed emotions. But now that I'm actually standing on stage, hearing the cheers of our fans and feeling this energy we share together firsthand, I'm truly so, so happy. I don't know, I really believe this is just the beginning, I truly believe that. In the future, we are going to become a team that rises all the way to the top, so I hope everyone here today will stay with us until that day comes. We will work really hard. Thank you so much! And also to our global fans... yeah! Oh... Honestly, thank you guys so much for being here, for being present here at our first fancon. This Remembrance Sunday, I recommend reading the words of Lance Sergeant Bill Gibson of No.2 Commando 6 troop. Written before he set off on Operation Chariot, to be delivered in the event of his death. Sadly Bill and the friend he mentions, Lance Sergeant Peter Harkness were both killed in action during the raid. “My dearest Dad, by the time you get this I shall be one of the many who have sacrificed their unimportant lives for what little ideals we may have - my own ideals I can thank you for. The job we have been on has been something worthwhile - it has virtually been suicide but the repercussions after we will have finished our task will be very far reaching in as much as the raiders who sink so many of our merchant ships will be put out of action for at least six months - so the food line from America should be unimpaired. Peter and I will be together- our task is just a wee bit dangerous, but if we can hold Jerry off it will mean the saving of the lives of a lot of our pals. We have been on this boat for a fortnight now, and we are all determined to see this through. I salute you all, No.2 Commando - they are a great lot of lads. Tomorrow moming I am going to Holy Communion - the first communion I have ever been at - but I know God will help us all he can, and I pray, Dad, that he will help you, and bless Betty for all she has been to us. My will has been made out - it seems so silly but we have all had to do it. I would like you. Dad, to write a note to my Irish girl and let her know what has happened. You will get her address in any of the letters - her name is Anne Brien - would you do this for me. The reason I am writing this at all, Dad, is just the thought that it might be a little better for you to get this rather than the dreaded telegram. I don't think I have made any enemies in the world - I have made a lot of good friends, but you've been the best pal I've ever had. As you said, I'm not actually confident in myself at all, but it's mostly bc of you, who came and filled in the parts of me that I couldn't do at all, who came and filled in the parts that I didn't want to do at all in the beginning bc I was too afraid. It's bc of you that I am who I am today. If it weren't you, then it couldn't be anyone else. Thank you so much for always helping me in everything. For our show today, even though it's our second time, at first I was like, "It's going to be chill. Of course we can do it. We could do a full hour concert with just the two of us, this will pass in no time, we can do it!" But it turned out harder than every other time for many reasons. We had many things to do too. But I was willing to do everything and I was honestly very happy during the show. I feel like I don't usually get to see myself let myself go, let loose, and just chill to this extent. I really enjoyed this time and that I was brave enough to try many new things. 🦊: Thank you, Bonnie, and thank you to all my friends here for having fun together. This time, before going on stage, the feeling was like, "Alright! Let's do it, let's get on stage!" It felt really chill. Usually, I put a lot of pressure on myself. It was great to see Lex Fridman learn and chant the Gayatri Mantra so well and PM Narendra Modi too recite it encouraging everyone to do so daily. Gayatri Mantra indeed is a very powerful mantra for expanding our awareness. I would like to humbly talk about it based on my own experience: The Gayatri mantra, like other Vedic mantras, reveals itself to the practitioner over time as they regularly chant and meditate on it. The Sanskrit words (or basically the sounds) reveal their true meanings in our experience as we chant them. For example, "Savitr" in the mantra though is said to be invoking the Sun, has presented itself in my experience, after much Sadhana, as the bright illuminating force of our own consciousness. Bhur, Buvah, and Svah revealed themselves as my own states of awareness from this waking 'reality', to the world constructed by my mind, to just pure consciousness, respectively. Dhi, is the limited power of consciousness. It's our limited awareness in day to day life. Right now as you read this, my words and may be a little more is in your Dhi. Not what you ate for lunch. But now, that lunch is in your Dhi. So what are we asking for while chanting Gayatri Mantra? We are asking the bright illuminating force that illuminates the waking reality, the mental world, and all of our consciousness to present itself in our Dhi - our limited awareness now. By becoming aware of it, we can wield it. And use it to illuminate, or bring into our awareness, much more than what is possible normally. For example, we can become a Ramanujan if we want by turning our Dhi to math problems, and the expanded power of awareness we have developed will bring to us solutions and equations that others may not see. You get it. As you regularly chant Gayatri mantra, you will realize you are much more aware of the world around you as a sort of a play, an illusion. You will also become much more intuitive. And you will see things others may not. For example, you may be able to see much more to events in the world. And while seeing that, your expanded intuition will help you see a lot more in your mental world about those events - like the factors behind them, and what's connecting them. Then you may also see "the future." You may intuitively see how those events will develop. It all depends on what you choose to focus on with your Dhi and how focussed you are about it. This is my personal experience. Of course, I'm not a realized soul, but that's the end goal. I sincerely believe by chanting and meditating on the Gayatri Mantra we can expand our awareness so much that we are aware of our own consciousness. Which is nothing but realization of the self. Enlightenment! Now, the Gayatri Mantra needs to be chanted as an incantation as prescribed in our scriptures with all its tones as per the Gayatri Meter. This is very important I believe. This too came into my realization one day while chanting the Gayatri Mantra: The Vedic mantras are designed like training data for LLMs. Here the LLM is your brain. These mantras when chanted the right way help mould the brain and fine tune the mind in certain ways to experience the world differently. They alter our conscious experience of the world. The sounds (or even mental chanting) probably reshape our brain's neural networks to achieve this expanded awareness (as in the case of Gayatri Mantra). May be one day neuroscience will find out. So if you do plan to start chanting the Gayatri Mantra and meditate on it, make sure you use a proper version chanted in the Gayatri meter the right way. This is of course my suggestion based on my own experience and what I have realized from my practice.

I would like to humbly talk about it based on my own experience: The Gayatri mantra, like other Vedic mantras, reveals itself to the practitioner over time as they regularly chant and meditate on it. The Sanskrit words (or basically the sounds) reveal their true meanings in our experience as we chant them. For example, "Savitr" in the mantra though is said to be invoking the Sun, has presented itself in my experience, after much Sadhana, as the bright illuminating force of our own consciousness. Bhur, Buvah, and Svah revealed themselves as my own states of awareness from this waking 'reality', to the world constructed by my mind, to just pure consciousness, respectively. Dhi, is the limited power of consciousness. It's our limited awareness in day to day life. Right now as you read this, my words and may be a little more is in your Dhi. Not what you ate for lunch. But now, that lunch is in your Dhi. So what are we asking for while chanting Gayatri Mantra? We are asking the bright illuminating force that illuminates the waking reality, the mental world, and all of our consciousness to present itself in our Dhi - our limited awareness now. By becoming aware of it, we can wield it. And use it to illuminate, or bring into our awareness, much more than what is possible normally. For example, we can become a Ramanujan if we want by turning our Dhi to math problems, and the expanded power of awareness we have developed will bring to us solutions and equations that others may not see. You get it. As you regularly chant Gayatri mantra, you will realize you are much more aware of the world around you as a sort of a play, an illusion. You will also become much more intuitive. And you will see things others may not. For example, you may be able to see much more to events in the world. And while seeing that, your expanded intuition will help you see a lot more in your mental world about those events - like the factors behind them, and what's connecting them. Then you may also see "the future." You may intuitively see how those events will develop. It all depends on what you choose to focus on with your Dhi and how focussed you are about it. This is my personal experience. Of course, I'm not a realized soul, but that's the end goal. I sincerely believe by chanting and meditating on the Gayatri Mantra we can expand our awareness so much that we are aware of our own consciousness. Which is nothing but realization of the self. Enlightenment! Now, the Gayatri Mantra needs to be chanted as an incantation as prescribed in our scriptures with all its tones as per the Gayatri Meter. This is very important I believe. This too came into my realization one day while chanting the Gayatri Mantra: The Vedic mantras are designed like training data for LLMs. Here the LLM is your brain. These mantras when chanted the right way help mould the brain and fine tune the mind in certain ways to experience the world differently. They alter our conscious experience of the world. The sounds (or even mental chanting) probably reshape our brain's neural networks to achieve this expanded awareness (as in the case of Gayatri Mantra). May be one day neuroscience will find out. So if you do plan to start chanting the Gayatri Mantra and meditate on it, make sure you use a proper version chanted in the Gayatri meter the right way. This is of course my suggestion based on my own experience and what I have realized from my practice.

KIDS: When you lose the puck, how hard are you willing to work to get it back? As a coach, I want you to make plays. I want you to be creative. I want you to play with no fear of making mistakes. The only stipulation I have is that when you try to make a play and you turn it over, you have to work like hell to get it back. Here's a great example from a team that MAKES A LOT OF PLAYS. Tampa turns it over in the Ozone and then watch the effort from the players to get it back. Hounds. They create another turnover and then get rewarded in transition. Coaches, amazing clip to show your teams!!

SHANK FIX Now there are several causes of shanks, but one thing for certain, shanks are when the hossel of the club is delivered into the ball instead of the sweet spot. When on the course, if you suffer from one of these unfortunate shots, there are some “on the fly” strategies you can bring in, to prevent them from happening again. This video dives into a very easy practice swing that will give you the exact feel you need to have to avoid the heel of the club. In addition to this swing feel, have the thought to strike it on the toe of the club is also advisable. This will get you back to the sweet spot, where you want to be! I think about this twice a day. Every morning when I sit down to read & again when I begin to work, I say to myself, “Accept the initial agitation.” When you try to focus, Andrew Huberman explains, “the brain circuits that turn on first are of the stress system.” Meaning: “The agitation and stress that you feel at the beginning of something—when you’re trying to lean into it and you can’t focus: you feel agitated and your mind’s jumping all over the place—that is just a gate. You have to pass through that gate to get to the focus component.” There’s a common misconception, Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D. continues: “the misunderstanding around how these brain circuits work has led to this idea...a kind of obsession with the idea that we have to feel good in order to be productive.” “And nothing could be further from the truth.” The truth is it’s the reverse: we have to be productive—we have to start working, we have to lean in and get going, accepting the initial agitation—in order to feel good.
