11 weeks post posterior labral repair surgery on my right shoulder. As you can see, there's some significant atrophy to my right chest, traps, lats, and of course my right delt. I've been training to the left side pretty hard and next week I'll be cleared to start "gentle" weight training on the right side. My plan is to keep reps over 20 for each set and slowly increase weight over time. I'm not rushing it. I'm excersing my patience. I'm grateful that I was able to have the surgery and to know that I'll be back to 100% eventually! (Feels like the longest 11 weeks of my life though lol) #recovery #fitness #gym #blessings

I just really don’t understand what is going on or happening to me…I mean of course I know logically, but I just don’t understand why I can’t stop breaking down and sobbing every single day at some point…I thought it was meant to start getting better…LIES!!! So I haven’t done conventional deadlifts in a long time because I could never get my form right and got mad at myself. Nothing new right. 🤦‍♀️ I think I get it but then I don’t. I’ve worked with the trainer, watched hours of videos, taken advice here and there but for some reason my mind and body don’t connect. I feel like I’m squatting too much here but I’m going to master these on this reset. So please in a kind way hit me with advice. 🫣Also this grip works better with my left side issues. 🙃

Surgery went well yesterday. Cheekbone has been put back in place. Will take a couple days for the swelling to go down around my eye. Feeling a bit groggy but overall in good spirits.
