Tyrese Maxey on how he found out that he was named as an All-Star starter: "Well, 2pm is the time that I sleep. So I was asleep." "VJ called me multiple times...we chopped it up for a little bit. Then my mom called me, and I said listen, I'm going back to sleep. I have work tonight."

Max Christie on the night of the Luka Doncic trade: “We just beat the Knicks in New York by 10 or 15. We were feeling good. We were kind of rolling at that point. I had started maybe 15 to 20 games in a row at that point for us. We were on the way back to the hotel. We were staying the night on the team bus and Rob Pelinka and JJ both kind of like called me at the same time and this was around the deadline and so Rob didn’t really call me that often like every now and then but as soon as my phone started ringing I saw it I kind of like had a idea but I didn’t want to assume and then you know he basically told me what was going on and uh zero sleep that night for sure. I didn’t sleep at all.” (Via TheOldManAndTheThree)

Temperature and light are two of the most important considerations for optimal sleep. When we sleep our bodies naturally drop down in temperature, by .5-1 degrees, a warm room or bed negatively impacts sleep, the same goes for light in your room while sleeping. That's why I have blackout shades and sleep on an Eight Sleep Not only does EightSleep keep the bed cool, I've seen substantial improvements in my deep sleep, and, the part that I am most excited for is for women: they are invested in female science. they've rolled out a pregnancy & postpartum modes and a rapid cooling response to combat hot flashes which is incredible. We know that during these phases, temperature plays a big role in the poor sleep that women are experiencing. Outside of those life stages, women in general have higher temps during their luteal phase and perimenopause, both of which can reduce sleep quality. here is where a cool bed can make a big difference. with my code KAYLA, you can save up to $350 on Eightsleep at

NEW: Butch Jones reflects with Andy & Ari On3 on how "Brick by Brick" originated during his time at Tennessee🧱 "There's a prominent head football coach, former head coach in the NFL, with Tennessee ties and he knew exactly what we had to do and how we had to recruit our way out of it. He said, Butch, you just got to build it Brick by Brick."

Labor’s ‘New Modern’ Sydney While Aussies sleep on the streets in Winter, Labor brings in Refugees that they give housing to & that we have to fund. No money for Aussies, just the 3rd world immigrants that we don’t want here. Why do Aussies even pay taxes at this point?

They are waging war on our children even in their sleep… 💔😭 Every day, we live through the same fear, the same terror, waiting for the unknown. This is the life of our children in Gaza—even sleep is no longer a safe place for them. Yesterday, we survived… but will we survive today? Will we be able to write to you again tomorrow: We are still alive? 😭💔🇵🇸 Please don’t forget us, and don’t stop praying for us.🙏🙏

I don’t think this is fair. #bloxburg We had to figure everything out ourselves at the start. & only for $2,500 cash. New players get full tut + a starter $10k in cash. (credits: @/novastations on TT.) & all we got was a trophy and a couch car that can be bought. 🙃

I’m not out on the jobsite a whole lot anymore—but whenever it comes to the brickwork, that’s where I’m still heavily involved. On Townsend, we are doing a chamfered corner (45 degree angle), and most masons today will either cut the angle into the face of the brick, exposing a cut edge which looks really different than a finished edge, OR will just butt the brick together, not lapping it, and leave a continuous joint that will start to pull apart—which also looks bad (and lets water in). We always want to lap our brick for proper “bonding”. It’s way better functionally, and also looks much better. That’s what we are doing here, laying out all of our brickwork, particularly how we are handling these chamfers, and making sure we aren’t going to end up with any tiny brick “slivers”. A little attention to detail goes a long way here. People often ask why our buildings look so different, or comment that our buildings look “old” (in a good way). This is one of the reasons: we are practicing good masonry techniques, and while most people don’t actually know what details to look for when looking at a brick building, they sense it. There are a number of other reasons modern brick buildings typically look crappy compared to older brick buildings, and this is one of them!

So today is back to work for many ! I hope you used your well earned break to reflect on the importance of sleep. Waking up in the middle of the night is very common for many. Here are a few tips to deal with that ! Proud of # SO JAO campaign by Arth that will continue to educate on sleep in 2026 as well 💪

Some sacrifices don’t come with headlines. They come with an empty chair at dinner. A letter on the porch. A goodbye at the door that has to hold you for months. To every family serving in silence, thank you. We see you. We remember you. We are grateful. I wrote this for you.

EIGHT SLEEP is pretty popular in the wellness world, but we avoided getting one for many years out of concern for “sleeping on an emf” When I lived in LA, we actually slept on a Faraday cage because of all the Wi-Fi signals so close to our house. But I finally got an Eight Sleep, and of course, as the most publicly measured woman in the world, I tested it. Here's a video on my findings (I had this professionally tested, my own in-home testing, and it matches the EIGHT SLEEP testing.) Good work Matteo Franceschetti

“Every time Trump attacks me, we raise about $50,000 online.” Thomas Massie is refusing to back down. He just declared that Trump’s Iran war will end in disaster, like “Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria or Libya.” And he revealed that he had to drag House Republicans “kicking and screaming” to vote on his War Powers Resolution. Why? “My colleagues don’t want to go on the record on this.” “Because we have a very poor track record in the Middle East.” “We had a debate and I asked, what’s the reason why are we going to war?” “At least we got that out of it, and at least we’re gonna get a record on the vote.” Thomas Massie Thomas Massie for Congress Emily Jashinsky

Q: Sleeping together on the hospital bed was that real sleep? 🌷: I think it was real sleep and I just noticed that P’Fa improvised something in the series, like saying “Was it the princess or Lom who slept in the wrong place? I burst out laughing, like hey, why is there even a scene like this? Why didn’t I hear it when we were acting? Like, why didn’t I hear it? Oh, maybe I was asleep. I think I really fell asleep. #FreenBecky
