I was proud to stand alongside her in defence of Northern Ireland and our United Kingdom. Her death is a great loss to the country. Britain has lost one of the few politicians whose word still meant something.

For 36 years as a pastor, I've sought to listen to people — to genuinely listen and care, to understand their needs and concerns, to offer compassion, kindness, and love. I'm not naive. Kindness and compassion alone aren't going to solve all of this. We also need the courage to stand up for what's right — to speak up against the wrongs we see in our society, to fight for our freedoms, and to restore a functional government in this American experiment. That's what this campaign is about. I hope you'll join me.
