Always pick Squirtle

If you grew up playing this when it was first released, your childhood was an immaculate blessing.

The evolution of pixel art is incredible to watch. Notice how much detail they packed into so few colors back then!

@Glitchymagic

Nothing compares to being stuck for weeks/months backtracking to talk to everyone you passed by just to find the HM you need to move on

Can you really say you’re a pokemon fan if you didn’t start the journey on gameboy 💭🤌

The memories. Pokemon absolutely swept the world despite being on the weakest of the gaming consoles available only

😢

This music hits harder then the gameplay.

I played Pokémon blue probably 100+ times.

@ajna717

That and Silver/Gold/Crystal are fucking incredible games. So good

much better than all the non-pixelated games these days imho

Remember that infinity master ball and rare candy glitch? Good times

I can hear the music 🎶 in my head

How bloody fun was that game!?

Best ever

Which Pokémon did you choose in the beginning?

Such good memories!

💯

My first video game as 8 year old was Pokemon Red Version with my green GameBoy Pocket. Man those were the days ♥️

Memories 💯

Technology is amazing! You can now save data on a p.c!

And to think ….. the first edition ticker is now onchain 😎😎$POKEMON

On the OG Gameboy to say the least

All downhill since.

Long time ago🥲

Love it.

I have it.

Now this…

@bbrananaxx pure nostalgia

I can’t believe how addicted I got.😅. I was in 9th grade when my cousins in elementary school introduced me to Pokémon. Soon I was tearing their asses up in battles with my lvl. 100 teams.😅

💪

Me looking at my younger cousins…😅

@DarkSilver420 Oh my the nostalgia

What a classic 🔥
