Fun fact: all the photo reference for the textures in The Getaway on PS2 were taken on Sony Mavicas — MVC-FD73s if memory serves me correctly.

I still have my Sony Cybershot DSC-P31. My first digital camera and it still takes great photos. A few more at 2.0 Megapixels but still a great camera.

I believe the first Sony DSLR came out around 2004 or so. 7 years later afer the Mavica and it was 10MP, of course it came at a cost

I took out my FD75 the other day and took some pics, I need to hook up my USB floppy drive to my PC and unload them! It was a pleasure to use it, it has such a wonderful feel, and I LOVE hearing the drive save the pictures!

Why were some of the best spy movies made during this era?

sold these when i worked at OfficeMax back in the day. I loved the idea and ease of getting the pix to your standard computer without a card adapter. unlike XD or CF cards back then, the floppy only really came in the small 1.44 MB size so only held a few pics.
