Anyone who ever met mom tells me “she was the sweetest.” Her capacity to love was one of her greatest gifts, having her as our mom is ours. I still grieve for my mother every day, but I was fortunate to have my mom in my life for as long as I did, because nothing was left unsaid. She knew I loved her and I knew she loved me. I have said this before but it bears repeating; if you are fortunate enough to still have your mother, tell her you love her, if you can’t see her, call her.
