This is what I miss more than most. Comedy back when it was about comedy, instead of people pretending to be funny when they're actually forcing their leftist ideology disguised as comedy.

Anthony Jeselnik is a comedian who is as edgy and as offensive as comedy comes, but he also doing it in good faith and in the context of stand-up comedy. And he accepts and understands what he is doing. He is RIGHT ON here.

Hellzapoppin' 1941 is an insane musical comedy that started on Broadway, and was the first of its kind as far as crazy, surreal comedy. Everything from Gremlins to Airplane! was inspired by this. It's a masterpiece

New ITV comedy Transaction, about a transgender supermarket worker and his boss, who clumsily makes identity-based faux pas. Episode One looks like a comedy that was written when the issue of trans rights was fashionable - but in 2025 this is as dated as it is unfunny

“When you make a comedy film, you are never respected as a good director, that is very painful for me. They see you as a JOKER when you make comedy films, that's why you never find any comedy films winning in the Oscar." – #Priyadarshan | #BhootBangla
