Back when men played the game.

"That's good clean solid hit" as Bertuzzi runs Chelios into the end boards right between the jersey numbers. 🤣

Back when hockey was played by REAL MEN

You mean the boarding penalty?

Back when men played the game:

Hockey was so much better back then. It got so soft and boring after the rule changes. Anyone who thinks hockey is better now needs their head examined. Maybe we’re just getting old.

It seems the soft hockey fans found this tweet!

Playoffs in the early 00's were literally blood feuds that will go down in history, but watching the old highlights good God do I squirm when I see these guys go head first into the boards It was this kind of Hockey that robbed us more years of prime Kariya. I don't miss it.

Ur telling me 08-09 looks this ancient??? We gettin old 😭

Blah blah blah show the Hasek clip

Miss this era.....but thats a boarding lol
