80s movies were awesome. Stupid plotless action movies. Now awkward mixed race characters. Virtuous ideology that has nothing to do with the plot. Used as filler to teach us all morals and inclusion. Hollywood is dead..

At one point in this scene, he says, "I just want to eat" and I've been saying that same line for years anytime someone interrupts me while I'm eating. Universal Soldier!
This would have solved the problem
It was simple, but it wasn't a great movie. Anyway, in that scene Jean-Claude orders a ton of food he can't afford and ends up beating the cook up instead of paying properly which isn't exactly "great" either. They could have at least had the blonde show up and pay for it...

He died in the service and was brought back as a superhuman "unisol" Universal Soldier. Little to no memory of his past life. Followed verbal orders from an earpiece. Super strong and fast, and heals by using big bags of ice (and some sort of chemical injections).

Pretty blond reporter had just abducted him to get his story and he discovers food again and is hungry. He has no idea what money is, and she ran off to make a phone call or something.
My favorite part is the abysmal acting.
