Back when remounting was allowed! Ruby Walsh breaks down a chaotic race in the 2001 Grand National 🤯

When it was a proper race

Great story, well told.

Back when NH racing was at its peak. Proper jockeys, gave everything for their horse and connections, and the punters, and racing wasnt safe guarded to fuck! Llewelyn, AP, Timmy Murphy, Ruby, Barry, Carberry. All excellent horsemen!

Was my first ever bet in that race grandad got me to pick a name from the paper it was red marauder at 33/1 what a unbelievable 🏇

Never forget that day- absolute chaos.

Simple as that 🤣🤣🤣

Imagine if the conditions where like that on 11th April how many would get round?

Music spoils it. Hard to listen

Some story 🤣
