Back when watching the Weather Channel gave us peace and calm

Never forget what they took from us

Fuck man this hurts. Remember this on my granny’s tv.

Locals on the 8. Good times.

They have this now in the app. You can switch it to retro mode. It’s awesome.

I miss this so much!

Graphics were way ahead of their time

It still can bring calm if you go to

So surreal when it was hurricane season and “the local radar” shows a massive spinning storm disk .25 mi from your house while Muzak plays on a loop 🤣

Back when it was just weather 24/7! Weather Nation seem to be the only one left that does that!

WeatherStar 4000+ is a fantastic little page that will give you that exact retro 80's/90's feel all over again. if you want to go back even further I think the 3000+ version emulates a 70's weather channel.

open a new tab and you can still enjoy it here!

“Your local forecast”

Now it’s fear mingering 😂

song is so smooth

I used to live in Atlanta. I remember it can get really cold sometimes.

Lakehurst: No Report

i think WC lost a lot when they gave this local interface up

Why be nostalgic? Just live it.

Id die to go back

There's a youtube channel that plays this music and shows live weather in this format.

The music was pretty catchy too. Lol 🤣🤣

“And now your local forecast, only on the weather channel..”

Now days.. chance of baseball sized hail a tornado or a small breeze and light mist 🤔

The best!

I use a tv similar to this as a computer desk in my living room XD

Accuweather 2026 dies fine with me...

yep, late 90s in orlando fl for me.

Bring it back.

wasn't everyone's like this?
