Backdraft is 34 years old today. William Baldwin, Kurt Russell and Scott Glenn performed a lot of their own stunts, they're even listed as stunt performers in the credits. Backdraft is still the most commercially successful movie about firefighters ever produced.

Backdraft still holds up, too. Good all-around film.

I've not watched it for a while. Maybe it's due for a re-watch.

The closing credits with my great city’s skyline is still one of my favorites…and the only time I have seen it that way..

It's such a product of the 90s. In the best way possible. It's a great movie.

What a total classic. Donald Sutherland as Ronald was superb. As was De Niro.
