🚨 BACKFIRING🚨 Major EU States just blocked a draft Canada-EU declaration over the undefined “associate member” status. After all the talk of bringing Canada closer to Europe, what exactly is this plan, and why are some of the EU’s biggest states pushing back?

Why are the EU biggest states pushing back? Probably because we are not a part of Europe…. They can’t even fully ratify a trade deal Canada made with them years ago. I say good riddance, no one wants this besides Carney and von der Leyen.

The EU likely wants nothing to do with Mark Carney. Canada on the other side of the ocean makes no sense. We already have a trade agreement between Canada and the EU. EU member states will not recognize Ceta as it stands. Agriculture and supply management once again is the sticking point.

If it happens it opens up the borders between Canada and the UK this will send even more immigrants to Canada through the UK.
