“BACKWARDS AND POOR”: TRUMP’S MESSAGE TO TOWNS THAT REJECT DATA CENTERS President Trump says communities that reject data centers are choosing to be “backward and poor.” He calls them the “golden goose” and argues China “could not be happier” to see Americans push back against the AI buildout. The...

Wanting the AI race is fine. Telling a town they’re traitors for asking about water and the power bill is not. Those can both be true. Wrote it up:

Data centers are just a guarantee of enslavement as payment. Millennials and those generations after have already been offered as sacrafice for the materialist hell we live in built to serve the boomer ego. Data centers secure the payment by denying freedom.

What’s so hard to understand that people want to own their media and not have to pay triple the $ on their utility bills?

Competing for what? What's the prize? It appears to be a race just to be racing, with little actual tangible reward at the end. Before these data centers are even operational the technology will likely change such that it will render them overbuilt from the get go.

@DavidBCollum “Backwards” is a perspective. It’s according to where you’re standing. I like my community the way it is. If that’s “backwards” then so be it.

Data centers are needed to advance humanity. If we listen to these type of people we wouldn't even have airports today.

To be told by a GOP politician that you oppose data centers because of China or you want to be poor is the most foolish campaign message since “you’re wrong to think you are struggling in this economy.”

‼️ Are you being influenced by a foreign influence operation paid for by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)? ‼️ Democrats and even some Republicans appear to be falling for a foreign influence operation paid for by China to spread anti-data center messaging. China is building AI the way a serious country builds a power grid and a highway system, with a national plan, state-backed data centers, hundreds of billions of dollars invested to make computing power a public utility and a focus on locking in home-grown chips. Here in the US, these same facilities that will decide who leads the next economy and who has the stronger military are being stalled town by town with moratoriums and “your electric bill is the data center’s fault” messaging, while Chinese state media and China-aligned activist networks cheer every day. This is becoming a very destructive pattern for the United States. America debates itself into paralysis while our adversaries treat AI infrastructure as destiny. I do agree that local communities deserve answers about the questions they have regarding their electric and water costs as it pertains to data centers in their zip code, but whoever is supposed to be messaging on this issue is failing to convey why the US *needs* data centers. TO BEAT CHINA is one good reason, and probably the best reason. Allowing radical left activists and foreign-amplified and foreign funded panic to freeze U.S. compute while Beijing builds at national scale is surrender in the AI race. If we want American strength in AI and if we want AI dominance, we need to build the plants, the power, and the data centers here on US soil in agreeable locations that make local communities feel comfortable before we lose more ground to China. WATCH this video 👇🏻
