BAD LIEUTENANT Abel Ferrara • 1992

This movie did me irreparable psychic damage when it came out and colored every other Keitel role I saw after it in the 90's. I think it was the keening.

Rewatched this recently - discovered it was the R-rated version and not the NC-17 one I saw in the theater. Actually liked the edited version better; the depravity is still there, just not lingered in as long.

The girls getting pulled over is the scene to see

I love when he looks at them and says quietly “Gimme that f*cking money now..”

It's perfecto

“Get me a Bud, high boy” One of my favorite films and performances 👌

classic. but also love that warner herzog never bothered to watch this when he made part 2

Harvey FUCKING Keitel.

Keitel was perfect for this role.

Ferrara=King

I had no idea Norm McDonald was in this??🤣🤣
