The word "genocide" requires a specific intent to destroy the Palestinian people in whole or in part as such. Some of these involved situations where Hamas attacked Israel, killed a few Jews. Israel did a reprisal. Maybe a few Palestinians were killed. That was called a genocide. But here's the number discrepancy. When Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, there were 1 million Palestinians there. Despite having five supposed separate genocides perpetrated against them in the 20 years since, I think most of the numbers from the CIA, the Israelis, and even the Gaza Health Ministry agree the population has more than doubled. There is over 2.2 million Gazans in the area today. Either Israel hasn't committed any genocide, or we're to believe that the country with F-35s, nuclear weapons, and one of the most sophisticated armies and air forces the world has ever known has been the most inept genocidal regime in the history of the planet.

This week, I spoke at the conference of CPAC Hungary. In my opening remarks, I thanked Hungary and Prime Minister Orbán for their support of Israel. The main focus of my remarks was the war with Iran. I explained why Israel is not fighting only for itself, but also for Europe, America, the Middle East, and all of Western civilization. Iran is the main source of chaos, terrorism, and conflict in the Middle East. It refers to America as the “Great Satan” and chants “Death to America.” It attempted to assassinate President Trump. It has been responsible for the deaths of thousands of American soldiers in Lebanon and Iraq. It has been developing ICBMs capable of reaching all of Europe and, eventually, U.S. soil, while also pursuing nuclear weapons to annihilate Israel, dominate the Arab Sunni world, and threaten and extort Europe and America. It has also oppressed and massacred its own citizens. I also spoke about how Israel is a defender of Christianity and Christians in the Middle East. It is the only country in the region where the Christian population is growing, while Christians are declining or being driven out in most other parts of the region. The city of Bethlehem was about 80% Christian in the past under Israeli control, but that share has decreased significantly under Palestinian Authority control and persecution to about 10%. Israel is also the only country that has fought for Christians in the Middle East when during the Lebanese Civil War, it fought alongside Christian Lebanese forces against Islamists Palestinian and Shia militias in the 1980s and 1990s.

It was incredibly divisive in Israel. It tore the country apart. He took all the 8,000 citizens who were living in Gaza, and he pulled them out kicking and screaming back across the border. He even went so far as to order the rabbis to go to the cemeteries and to disinter the Jewish bodies in the cemeteries, to say to the Palestinian people, "You make your own state here in Gaza. You're by the water. You get billions and billions of dollars in aid from the United States and Europe and other countries around the world every year. You can be a Singapore in the Middle East." One year later in 2006, Hamas overwhelmingly won the election in Gaza by promising to fight a never-ending war of extermination against the Jews. They haven't had a single election since. And many people believe that the many wars that Hamas has started with Israel since 2005, including the war on October 7th, were a direct result of Israelis disengaging from Gaza in 2005.
