Radiator is made of brass alloy for old skul cars while new gen have aluminium and plastic so rusting is a no. The engine head & block are usually aluminium where water is circulated. Water is enough without the coolant if you remove the sensors and let the water and fan run.

Boiling point of different coolant mixtures  Water alone: Boils at 100°C (212°F) 50/50 mix of water and glycol: Boils at 106°C (223°F) 60% ethylene glycol and 40% water: Boils at around 127°C (260°F)

So can I empty the water I have been using for several years and start using coolant?🤔

You omitted boiling points in a pressurized and the effects of not maintaining cooling system pressure at 15psi (Normal cooling system pressure)

The only thing that matters there is anti-rust as the cooling system is overpressured and can't boil at 100⁰C

I knew the only advantage of using coolant is it's anti freezing I know about the boiling point and rusting of the radiator among other parts.
