UTRGV handles business at home vs Kansas 🔥 Let this be our notice to you that... THE University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley will be the biggest program riser in the next 2-3 years. They have the fans, the facilities, the social media/athletic dept support. They have everything they need to be a problem. Great team to keep up with this season.

You are a student and want to work in crypto? The best way to get started is getting active in your university blockchain society, or if none exists, establishing it on campus. Here you will meet likeminded peers and over time build up direct relationships with the industry. Spending my university days running Bocconi Students Blockchain Association and LBS Blockchain Society has set the foundation of my career and been the bedrock of my network in the industry. Ferris State HC Tony Annese - Cardinal Rules to Successful Coaching 1. Serve the heart of your players, not their talents 2. Find the good in every player and enthusiastically celebrate whatever strength that individual displays 3. Show compassion and empathy for our players and provide the love and support they need to flourish 4. Love your position group and take care of them like they are your own children 5. Master your relationships with the Jimmy's and Joe's before you focus on the X's and O's 6. Be a Life Coach - Provide spiritual, emotional, and social awareness and support for the players - Understand how vulnerable young people are at this stage and provide the support they need to navigate through the challenges they face 7. Be a Doer! -Spend time with the Head Coach and determine what you can do to help him and the team 8. Be passionate about your role as a coach - Realize that you will impact more people in one year than most people do in a lifetime 9. #Eagles GM Howie Roseman on his reported interest in trading for Micah Parsons and Myles Garrett: “When there’s opportunities to be aggressive for the right players, we’re not going to sit on our hands. You don’t have great success without taking great risks. … We can’t be afraid to fail. I think a lot of times for you to get to the top you have to be willing to take chances that may look controversial at times. …. I won’t live with regret.”

This week on the ABCA Podcast, 2025 ABCA/Soldier Sports NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year Justin Barber of Taylor University discusses the race to two strikes: using data to help pitchers understand the difference between being in a 2-1 count versus a 1-2 count and building a staff identity around attacking early, getting to two strikes and putting pitchers in position to control the at-bat. It’s a great example of how Barber blends data with simple, repeatable concepts that players can understand and execute. 🎧 Listen to the full episode now:

A Maldivian gov scholarship student at University of Melbourne (world top 15) has been sanctioned due to unpaid tuition fees and is now unable to progress to the next semester. The university tried to contact MOHE but, after receiving no response, resorted to emailing the student directly. The terms of the scholarship agreement clearly states that all matters related to tuition fees are to be handled solely between the university and the ministry, without involving the student. But they had to email the student anyway cause MOHE was not responding. The deadline for the tuition payment passed 2 months ago. As a result, the student’s classmates and batch are advancing to the next semester, while the student remains in limbo. The student then emailed MOHE but no satisfactory response. Then when the student’s family approached MOHE for clarification, they began shifting blame, the budget section pointed fingers at the scholarship section and vice versa. Prior to the sanction, the university had also reached out directly to senior officials, including the Head of Department, Ibrahim Ali and Zaufishana, but received no response. The student is now under significant emotional strain and is finding it difficult to focus or engage with their studies. Thank you Dr Ali Haidar Ahmed Dr Mohamed Muizzu

Baylor 6’5 Sophomore Cameron Carr has looked like an early potential riser in the 2026 NBA Draft. Through his first three games he’s averaging 24/4/1 along with 2 blocks a game on 68/53/73 splits. Carr has also been a major reason for Baylor’s 3-0 start Carr is one of the best athletes and shooters in the class, he’s great at getting to his spots off the catch and has an extremely quick jumper, he’s also a great cutter who finishes at an elite level and can also drive to the rim. On the defensive end Carr is a versatile defender who’s strong off ball and has the vertical athleticism to defend multiple positions. There’s not many players with Carr’s mix of finishing, shooting, and athleticism and while it’s still early he’s made a strong case to be a potential first rounder.

University of Houston coach Kelvin Sampson on players graduating: "All our kids graduate every year. Every year. Our graduation rate is probably over 90 percent, because I can count on one hand the ones who haven't graduated. . . Kingston (Flemings) will go to the NBA, he's not going to graduate. (NBA Lottery prospect) Chris (Cenac Jr.) won't graduate. But hopefully one day they will. "But all the kids that stay here will graduate. You play four years here, you're going to graduate. And it's not because of me or our program. It's because of their mothers and fathers. I had a great college coach. He had nothing to do me graduating from college. "That's my Mom and Daddy. "
