Our eagle cam in Minnesota was in a tree along the bluffs of Mississippi River. It was amazing watching mom,dad & babies every yr. Last Apr, the main branch holding the nest broke off due to wind &weight of the nest. We lost the only chick & the nest. 😥

#BREAKING: Beloved Big Bear, CA bald eagle Jackie has died per the Ojai raptor center. Jackie gained national attention when and her partner Shadow and she began raising eaglets in Big Bear, CA and could be seen on livestreams taking care of their young. The eagle was rescued a few weeks prior after being attacked by two juvenile eagles, and was being treated for anemia, which ultimately took her life. Friends of Big Bear Valley say Jackie lived for about 14 years and mothered multiple eaglets including two that recently hatched.
