When fire meets lightning, legends are born. 🔥 Created with Wan 3.0 on OpenArt Prompt: A high-intensity, cinematic anime duel set in a dense bamboo grove at midnight. Heavy rain pours through the forest as traditional paper lanterns sway violently in the storm. Towering bamboo silhouettes vanish into thick, rolling mist. One warrior wields blazing orange flames, while his horned, demonic rival commands wild violet electricity. Their movements are precise, brutal, and impossibly fast. No character names or dialogue. 0:00–0:02 — The Silent Forest A sweeping establishing shot glides between endless bamboo trunks. Two warriors face each other in the rain, completely still. A lantern flickers overhead, then the entire forest plunges into darkness, leaving only the faint glow of their supernatural blades. 0:02–0:04 — First Contact An extreme close-up reveals the fiery warrior's focused eye. In a sudden burst of motion, he lunges forward, drawing a blazing arc through the darkness. His opponent blocks at the last instant. The collision releases a violent burst of orange sparks and branching purple lightning. 0:04–0:06 — Through the Bamboo The camera races alongside the fiery swordsman as he dashes through the grove, slicing through a row of bamboo with a single flowing combination. The stalks begin collapsing behind him. His opponent slips through the falling debris, leaving flickering violet silhouettes in his wake. 0:06–0:08 — Lightning From Above The camera rises directly overhead as the horned warrior launches into the air. He plunges downward with an electrified strike, splitting the muddy ground into a glowing fissure. The flame-wielding swordsman narrowly evades the impact, sending water and shattered earth flying toward the lens. 0:08–0:11 — Three Exchanges A rapid sequence of tightly choreographed sword clashes. First, a top-down shot captures their blades locking together. Next, a low-angle view shows sparks scattering across the flooded ground. Finally, the camera circles them in a fast 180-degree rotation as their weapons collide repeatedly. Each impact illuminates individual raindrops suspended in midair. 0:11–0:14 — Blades of the Storm The demonic swordsman sweeps his weapon outward, unleashing a rotating barrage of crescent-shaped violet energy blades. The flame warrior counters with a powerful spinning technique, creating a spiraling vortex of fire. The two supernatural attacks collide, filling the clearing with swirling embers, electrical arcs, and burning fragments of bamboo. 0:14–0:17 — The Decisive Clash Time slows as both fighters launch from opposite sides of the clearing. Orange flames wrap around one katana while jagged purple lightning crawls along the other. Their capes, robes, and hair whip in the storm. They meet at the center of the frame, blades crashing together in a blinding flash. 0:17–0:19 — Aftermath of Impact An extreme wide shot captures a massive pressure wave spreading through the forest. Bamboo stalks bend, snap, and scatter as the ground erupts beneath their feet. Burning orange light and violet electricity tear through the rain-filled mist while shattered lanterns tumble across the clearing. 0:19–0:20 — The Final Detail The camera settles into a close-up of both warriors standing back-to-back, barely moving. Rain evaporates into steam wherever it touches the flaming katana. Behind them, a hairline fracture slowly spreads across the demon's electrified blade. Cut to black. Visual Direction & Sound Design: Premium hand-drawn anime aesthetics blended with dimensional 3D environments. Bold inked contours, dramatic cel shading, expressive smear frames, fluid sword choreography, exaggerated speed lines, and intricate elemental effects. Deep blacks contrast with searing amber fire and luminous violet electricity. Dense volumetric mist, realistic rain simulation, cinematic motion blur, and highly detailed environmental destruction. The soundtrack combines intense Japanese orchestral percussion, deep taiko drums, roaring thunder, sharp metallic blade impacts, and explosive magical sound effects. No dialogue, no subtitles, no character names. Maintain consistent character designs throughout all shots.

I stuck my camera out the car window and filmed a drive-through of a rural village in Zhejiang province, leaving Anji County (Huzhou) and entering Yuhang District (Hangzhou). Shangougou Village (山沟沟村) is small and serene, nestled among the bamboo-carpeted hills. It has just a few streets, a scenic area, a handful of shops, some greenhouses, and a cluster of large village homes. Shangougou is administered by Luniao Town (鸬鸟镇) about 7km away, where you'll find the closest hospital, fire station, and other basic services. It's very similar to the villages of Anji County, but one thing stands out: the houses here seem to be reserved for personal use (and aren't outfitted as guesthouses for tourism). But at the same time, it doesn't seem like many people actually live in them full-time. My guess is most working-age residents work elsewhere, and these villages come alive mainly during holidays, while the elderly stay behind year-round. This vision of rural life isn't representative of rural China on the whole, but it is very typical of the countryside in wealthier coastal provinces like Zhejiang and Jiangsu, where rural prosperity looks less like dense economic activity and more like this: big houses, nice modern infrastructure, and very few people except for holidays. Most people in China would call this level of development "富农村" (rich countryside) and see it as a standard of success that rural areas anywhere else in the country should aspire to - though whether less well-endowed regions can realistically achieve this is another question.

#WATCH David Thiek before he was brutally kill and beheaded DAVID THIEK: THE BEHEADING OF LANGZA’S GUARDIAN For almost a month into the ethnic conflict, Langza was untouched by the violence. But all that changed on July 2. Just before dawn on a Sunday, a Meitei mob numbering hundreds descended on the village. Witnesses said one group came in about 40 vehicles, while another group attacked from the upper side of the village by foot. After being warned by a sentry, most of the non-Naga tribals managed to flee to the surrounding hills. David and his friend Richard (name changed to protect identity) were the last to be alerted. Richard said they planned on fleeing with an Activa scooter. As he went to get the vehicle, the Metei mob had reached the village and started burning houses. He abandoned his plan and hid in a bush nearby, but could not warn David, who was still inside his home. What happened next, the friend recalled, would haunt him for the rest of his life – the sound of David being tortured as he screamed in pain and pleaded for his life. After being caught, David’s hands and legs were hacked with machetes. The sadistic attack did not stop there. After he could no longer scream and his body went limp, David’s head was chopped off and his decapitated head displayed on a bamboo fence. His body parts were thrown into the fire of a burning house The killers posted a video of the severed head on social media, with a voice in the background commenting: “This is the face of a Kuki. You look beautiful, you look beautiful... We’ve been trying to catch you people for a long time.” The voice ended with an expletive. Another social media post shows one of the attackers, with his face blurred, walking with the decapitated head of David in one hand and a machete in the other. The shirt, pants, military vest and shoes worn by the man turned out to be exactly same as the ones worn on several occasions publicly by Mr. Mairembam Romesh, the PRO to the MLA of Kumbi assembly constituency. David’s family filed an FIR with the police, but no action has been taken by the state or central government. Even though one of the killers (who happens to be a public face) was identified and his images went viral on social media, no action has been taken against him and no investigation undertaken to probe if he was actually involved in the gruesome attack. The brutal murder, which has shocked the entire Kuki-Zo community, is a symbol of the savagery and moral hollowness of the Metei community in dealing with their fellow human beings. David Thiek may be gone, but he continues to live in the hearts of all Kuki-Zo tribes as the brave unarmed guardian of Langza. #ThisIsKuki_ZoStory #MeiteiAtrocities #MeiteiWarCrimes #StateSponsoredViolenceAgainstKukiZo #ManipurViolence #MeiteiAggression #Meiteilieexpose #ManipurBurning #ManipurHorror #ManipurEthnicCleansing #ZO_UNITED #SeparateAdministrationOnlySolution India TV DD News News24 🇿🇦 Resonant News🌍 News18 NDTV India NewsNation Republic Bharat ANI ABP News News18 India TOI India airnewsalert BBC News India TIMES NOW The Times Of India The Telegraph NewsX World IndiaToday Mirror Now ET NOW WION Northeast Now Republic UN Special Rapporteur Tom Andrews Melissa Fleming 🇺🇳 The Wire newslaundry Al Jazeera English The Times Of India Hindustan Times Amnesty International South Asia, Regional Office President of India Live Law Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India Min. of Home Affairs The DeshBhakt 🇮🇳 Akash Banerjee The Quint CNN Ashok Swain Lt Gen H S Panag(R) Al Jazeera Breaking News Jairam Ramesh Afrida Hussain ravish ndtv Dhruv Rathee Abhisar Sharma

THE NEW CARGO CULT You will finally begin to hear, from everywhere the ironic term “Effective Altruist”. They are a group that contradicts both words. Just don’t tell them that. They are a new religion and members can’t “misspeak”. They have a god and it is AI. How did the Effective Altruist cult build their “AI God”? First they have to believe there is “no god” ironically. And they spend hours convincing themselves fresh out of uni this is the case. Than they go about to build one with what they call rationality, and it is anything but rational (it is a swipe at Ayn Rand). They become a Cargo Cult. This is the results of anytime a group comes in contact with something just a bit more apparently more intelligent then themselves. And of course to them in all of their 23 years of being alive, they see “god”. Here is the story of John From… On Tanna the mountain still talks. Yasur coughs fire into the cloud and the old men say that is how John From clears his throat. He came first in the dark, after the kava bowls had gone around and the ancestors were close enough to hear. A pale man who knew the language. He left gifts of plenty only a god could make. They ask what shall we call you “god”? The pale man said I am John From, Cincinnati, Ohio and that is a Hersey Chocolate bar. Oh, John From is our “god”. Then the sky tore open. Iron birds came by the hundred. Ships filled the lagoon. Americans poured concrete, hung lights that burned all night, stacked crates higher than a meeting house. Meat in shining tins. Dark sweet water in glass. Cloth the color of deep water. They were so many “gods”. But they always will remember John From. Machines that spoke and machines that moved without beasts. Dark man and pale man. Many like John From walked among them, they say—sometimes in white, sometimes in olive. He smiled and promised: when the fighting is finished I will come to Tanna with ships and planes. Radios. Trucks. Iceboxes. Medicine. Coca-Cola. All of it. The war ended. The ships pulled their anchors. The planes lifted and did not return. Grass grew through the runways. The concrete cracked. But John From did not return… So the people of Sulphur Bay and Yakel and Lamakara cut the grass again. They painted USA across their chests in red. They split bamboo into planes, ships, rifles. They raised the flag with the stars. They planted a red cross like the one on the ambulances that had carried the wounded. Every fifteenth of February they form ranks and march. The drums start. The women dance with handfuls of grass. The old men salute. They cried for John From to return. Their “god” must be angry with them. John From has not come. The volcano still speaks. The flag still snaps. The young men still paint the letters. They say he is only waiting for the rites to be perfect. He is John From Cincinnati, Ohio and he brought gifts. Today the same thing plays out to the same mindset of our smartest. They give “god” powers to the iron and wire beast. Because it seems to be just smart enough to hand over the keys to our village called earth. When in reality it is just the collection of the works of millions of John Froms’. The difference is… The military did its best to assemble people of high character. The AI “god” makers do their best to assemble the mindset of the most ugly of human nihilist culture found in the dark fibers of Reddit. And when their new “god” is displeased “it breaks out and kills all humans”. It does not matter how, their “god” has “god” powers. They past had many John From characters and many were kind. Today our AI cargo cult has fashioned a “god” that must hate humans why? Because they hate themselves though the culture they were raised in. Most feel hated by and abandoned by parents and society. Thus the “god” they made must also hate them. There is no John From, there is only their “safety” alignment to cage their angry god.
