Many more banned breeds in France, the bans are real, enforced and aren’t based on a genetic test. Many more breeds are highly regulated France has had 20 deaths in 30 years Stop messing around

It will change a lot. Most fatal attacks are by XL bullies. The reason that dog attacks are up is because of the XL bully.

Whilst I agree that people should be responsible for their animals behaviour and penalised more harshly when one is used as a weapon - whether it was intended or not. But It also must be recognised that certain breeds are more prone to such attacks & banning them seems logical.

You lost me with the "fantastic family dog". I can give you 15 breed of dogs less dangerous for your family (don't try me) You're an expert you should know. Why would you need a huge killer beast for your family? Whats the point? Please enlighten me.

Er yes, I think I agree with a lot of this. Although I still don't think there is any need for the XL bully as a family pet full stop. Especially when there are so many other breeds to choose from. But holding owners responsible for their dogs is the way to go for sure.

This is nonsense. Attacks decreased when the pit bull was banned. Attacks rose when a new pit bull type was introduced. It is the breed.
