Nobody kidnapped in Isapa The media houses reporting the abduction of some residents of Isapa communin Ekiti LGA of Kwara State following that attack by bandits yesterday didn’t get their fact correctly. No resident of Isapa was abducted during the incident. When the bandits invaded the community, they were confronted by the local vigilante team. The bandits shot repeatedly at one of the vigilante members, but the bullets did not penetrate him. That is the vigilante man in the video The resistance by the vigilante caused the bandits to retreat in fear. As they fled through Eruku, the fleeing bandits encountered some Hausa individuals and a woman, whom they abducted in an attempt to claim a false sense of victory. Journalists or media organisation should always do their due diligence and exercise greater responsibility in their reporting. Information should be sourced from credible and multiple sources to avoid the dissemination of inaccurate narratives. From Chief Sunday Wale Adeniran
