Across India, state governments need to keep this up and increase the heat on Bangladeshis and Rohingyas so they leave on their own. The Construction Work of the Metro Railway near Kaikhali on the VIP Road for the Airport-New Garia Orange Line Metro Route has been going on for quite some time now. Thousands, if not lakhs of vehicles ply on this road regularly. I have two questions for the Bidhannagar Police:- a) If the Construction Work is unsafe then why have your Traffic Department not made adequate arrangements earlier for the safety of the Public and allowed them to risk their lives by traveling on that 'dangerous' stretch of road? Public safety is not a matter of concern for you? b) Or, by asking to temporarily pause the Construction Work of the Metro Railway, you are trying to massage the ego of the CM, because when #Hirak_Rani travels everything should come to a halt? Was waiting for this and it happened. ​Chaos unfolded just outside Bandra station on day 2 of the demolition drive in Garibnagar escalated into a major security standoff. ​What started as an enforcement action (directed by courts) against illegal structures quickly spiraled when a volatile crowd pushed back, launching a barrage of stones at the officials on site. With the situation slipping out of hand, Mumbai Police had to move in fast with a lathi-charge to break up the mob and regain control of the streets. ​The area remains under heavy lockdown as security forces work to keep a lid on the tension. Nigeria Police Force is not even responding or reacting on their behalf. Even if only to lie to us and let things calm down. I hope Ochanya’s spirit deals with them 😢 Is the Benue State Police trying to let this case die down again? Today, I honored yet another invitation to the Nigeria Police Force Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, where I was served with a three-count charge by police investigators. After my attorneys and I were shown a court date for Thursday’s arraignment, the police team immediately began another round of interrogation. This time, they claimed the investigation was linked to my role in the #PoliceProtest, accusing me of inciting 'mutiny' by offering to lead serving and retired police officers in their quest for better conditions of service and pension. They went further, introducing a completely baseless and absurd allegation that I have “relationships with terrorists” without offering a shred of proof. In the midst of this, they demanded that I write another statement. I immediately declined. All the while, a police cameraman was on standby, recording every moment. When the questioning ended, I once again demanded the return of my stolen Ray-Ban meta AI glasses stolen during the July 21st #PoliceProtest. This time, they obliged and returned them to me. They cannot break our resolve, nor derail our movement for a free, just, and democratic Nigeria. #RevolutionNow
