If you really want to know what's possible, read 'The Great Taking' by David Rogers Webb. You don't actually own the stocks in your trading/401k/IRA accounts, you own entitlements. If shit hits the fan, Webb argues that secured creditors could have priority over customers claims to securities held in pooled custody arrangements. Scary shit.

You think you have a financial "system", but what you have is a financial scam.

@ITMTrading What exactly are you saying? Would it be a good idea to pull cash out of the bank and hoard it in a safe, so to speak? Forget the idea of buying bullion for a minute…. Regarding cash, pull it out now?? No point in keeping cash in a bank anyways right

Yeah that happened after the initial housing collapse. The gov't told the banks they weren't going to bail them out again and they had to figure out something else. Bail-ins were decided upon to bail themselves out with your money. Supposed to be for accounts over $250k but 😏

Stop trying to create fear for people based on no evidence claims… Your “bail-in” framing is misleading and overstated. Under U.S. law, FDIC-insured deposits (up to $250k per depositor, per bank, per ownership category) are protected. No insured depositor has lost money since 1933. Dodd-Frank’s Orderly Liquidation Authority is mainly for large complex firms and is designed to put losses on shareholders and long-term creditors—not ordinary insured depositors. Uninsured amounts can face losses in a failure, but the FDIC has routinely protected them in practice (including full protection for SVB/Signature in 2023). Cyprus and Lebanon are not the U.S. system. No U.S. bank has “bailed in” ordinary depositors the way you’re describing. Real risks exist around uninsured deposits and systemic stress, but the claim that banks can simply seize your deposits under current rules is not accurate.

That’s right Taylor….thanks for your works. There’s a lot of people that can help and our intelligent and proficient in skill sets that could help. Some of you larger platforms may want to socially support and broadcast each other’s useful and helpful messages. Because though I give you a thumbs up in a repost. I am shadow band and have very few friends on my list. But a lot of of us are saying the same things and trying to help. A good rising tide can raise all ships. God bless and keep up the good works.
