I never understood why it always has to be framed as one or the other. In the US, pregnancy related death is practically nonexistent. Doctors have every available means to save the childs life through multiple means, including but not limited to a C section. 🤨

Taxing alcohol has reduced drinking more than prohibition. Taxing cigarettes reduced those too. Why not suggest taxing abortion? The left loves taxes. If the goal is to reduce abortion, taxing them might be more successful than a ban. As the tax grows, abortions could tank.
