My parents always said lightning would not strike where swallows build a nest.

I’m diabolical. So let them build enough nest so you can run two wires on side and then have a good strong battery ready to attach the leads.

Let them build the first one...and then fill it yourself! lol See how they like that.

Good advice

This makes me very sad. They only need that nest spot for a short time. Please stop! AND barn swallows are federally protected in the US under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918. This act prohibits intentionally disturbing their nests, eggs, or young.

A dab of mud is not a nest 🙄

They eat SO MANY INSECTS!
